Bugatti T57 Aravis Ieteren Cabriolet open sn57585 1938 1/43
[Chro11]
      277.40EUR

1/43, resin

This particular Aravis cabriolet is a one-off Albert D'Ieteren bodywork, one of only two Bugatti 57 created by D'Ieteren.
This is the work of Letourneur & Marchand made on 57826, and the specific wishes of the future owner Mr Baggage that inspired this unique and remarkable design.
The chassis arrived naked at the workshop in March 1938 and was delivered all finished to Mr Baggage in autumn of that year. He used and appreciated his car until the Second World War forced him to hide it.
Note the folding seat on the rear side intead of the back seat.
The rarity and beauty of this car make it one of the most desirable type 57 of this type.
